Built Work

I've been working in architecture for a little over five years. I've seen projects completed that range in size from a tiny kitchen remodel to a ten million dollar church activity center.

I'm also deeply involved in the boundary-pushing world or BIM modeling software. These programs are at the cutting edge of architectural and engineering information systems. A well-designed BIM model can convey building information in a way no other CAD software can. I was fortunate enough to get involved with BIM on the ground floor. This software is the future of architectural design.

The gallery on the right shows the Emmaus Catholic Parish Life Center in Lakeway, Texas. This project was designed using Archicad, a BIM program. Construction was completed in early 2011. It is over forty-thousand square feet of education, fellowship, and performance space. I was the job captain on this project during my tenure at Heimsath Architects.
