My thesis project at NDSU started as a study of train stations still being used in Minnesota. From that initial study, my interests changed to focus on the interaction of commuters with pedestrians and the urban environment itself. I became concerned with the decreasing emphasis built design places on human/human interaction. Out of that grew a theoretical project which tries to create nodes of interaction to promote those important behaviors and interactions. Explore the gallery to see some of the graphics I produced for my thesis. These images represent anthropomorphically designed nodes of interaction.
